Plovdiv Airport Flights
The Plovdiv Airport specializes in servicing charter flights, especially during the winter months, form December to April, when the area welcomes ski tourists. The airport is 10 km. southeast of the city, on the main Plovdiv- Asenovgrad road and can be reached in 15 minutes by car or taxi.
The Sofia Airport is only some 150 km. to the west and can be reached easily via the newly built motor in less than 2 hours. The Airport is the largest and most technologically advanced and catered to close to 3 000 000 in 2007, and operates with a brand new terminal 2, which was completed in 2006.
