Location: The Hebros Hotel , Plovdiv some 200 years of Bulgarian history, tradition and culture. Originally belonging to a wealthy textile and fur merchant and restored in the late 1990’s, it is now a living display of original Bulgarian Renaissance style. Furnished in complete harmony with its origins, guests who choose to stay here will take a unique look back in time, experiencing authentic, old Bulgaria. The area of the three hills where the hotel is located is an architectural reserve and business and vacation travelers who stay here, will certainly appreciate being amidst the many galleries, museums and sights of the old town of Plovdiv.
Accommodation: Despite its authentic décor, the rooms by no means lack the comforts of modern day. There are a total of 6 rooms and 2 apartments. Each room of the Hebros hotel is set apart by both its distinctive atmosphere and its choice of furnishing. All furniture is elaborately hand carved and all the pieces in the room are meticulously chosen and seem to have a life of their own.

Food and Drinks Facilities: The Hebros restaurant received the 2003 Bachus Magazine award for restaurant of the year. It is acclaimed as one of the top places in Plovdiv due to the rich traditional Bulgarian menu that it offers; blending traditional Bulgarian flavours and seasonal products to produce quality dishes. The restaurant also hosts wine samplings of the fine Bulgarian wines from the region and from all over Bulgaria.
Getting there: As the second largest city in Bulgaria, Plovdiv is especially easy to get to. The Plovdiv airport accommodates charter flights. The Sofia airport, which is some 150 km. away, has all year round international and domestic flights. There are regular buses and trains to and from the city, providing quick, easy and convenient access.
Nights out: Continuing the travel back in time, the Old Town of Plovdiv has some remarkable places to visit. The cobble stone streets will also lead you to nooks and crannies where you’ll discover some wonderful cafes and restaurants. On the other hand, the city centre (which is only a short walk away), will give you many options for a more vigorous, late night life with plenty of bars and clubs.
Spa and Leisure: Certainly not lacking in modern day conveniences, the Hebros hotel has an inviting second storey lobby where guests can gather and enjoy the mellifluous sound of the 150-year old “Berger” piano. There is also a sauna and Jacuzzi which can be an enjoyable way to spend one’s free time.
